The point of life

Originates from the existence of life. The existence of life symbolizes that there is a meaning to life and that life was created for a purpose. Therefore if I deduce the why life exist's, then therefore I will know the meaning of life. Life exists either because a supreme god like character created it or it originated from algae floating around in several billion year old pangaea's ocean. Therefore the meaning that the algae exists is why life exists and is the point of life. "The first plants on earth probably evolved from shallow freshwater algae much like Chara some 400 million years ago. These probably had an isomorphic alternation of generations and were probably filamentous. Fossils of isolated land plant spores suggest land plants may have been around as long as 475 million years ago." says Wikipedia. This means that life was created early so that we could exist, also that it took 475 million years for it to evolve. This indicates that the creator obviously did not have humans in mind, and also did not expect a conscious life for to be made in a short time. 

There are several types of algae:

• Colonial: small, regular groups of motile cells
• Capsoid: individual non-motile cells embedded in mucilage
• Coccoid: individual non-motile cells with cell walls
• Palmelloid: non-motile cells embedded in mucilage
• Filamentous: a string of non-motile cells connected together, sometimes branching
• Parenchymatous: cells forming a thallus with partial differentiation of tissues

This further indicates dedication on the god's part in creating life form's as diverse as algae. Algae has many uses, such as a pigment, pollution control, and fertilizer. This indicates good intentions through the creation of algae by a higher power. 

These good intentions combined with everything else can only mean one thing,
